VanillaSoft: Stripped-Down Hosted Telemarketing Software for Outbound Phone Sales

VanillaSoft is a vendor working the lead management for outbound telephone sales market, offering a hosted, Web-based applications for “making the most of your outbound calling campaigns.”

The company’s lead management offerings arebilled by company officials as being able to “bring the power of simplicity to lead management applications. Our hosted tools offer all of the features your inside sales representatives or telephone agents need to be productive and successful -- such as next best call routing, logical branch scripting, auto-dialling and intuitive contact management -- without all of the bells and whistles that typically drive up the price.”

For their automatic real-time lead distribution offering, “unlike most CRM tools that can actually be a distraction from making the next sales call, VanillaSoft's next-best-call routing enables sales people to perform at the highest level of productivity,” company officials say. “Managers can set up the system using pre-determined logic to literally ‘push' the next-best-lead with all the relevant prospect or customer information to the appropriate sales person.”

The tool helps users increase call volume by 20 percent or more even with manual dialing while maintaining CRM functionality, choose between different default routing orders and “apply management insight and logic to the sales process through sales force automation (SFA) functionality, as well as assign leads to specific individuals or teams and move leads automatically through different sales levels and teams.”

It also helps companies prioritize leads in order of call importance and automatically handles scheduled callbacks.

They also offer, among other features, a real-time management dashboard to let users see real-time calling statistics for each campaign and each user, broken down by result group or call result, see calling results per campaign broken down by lead source and run the dashboard for different time periods to see historical results.
