Infusionsoft, a provider of marketing automation software for small businesses, announced it has achieved a significant milestone. With over 7,000 customers, Infusionsoft now leads the industry with more customers than any other telemarketing software vendor.

The telemarketing software from Infusionsoft wins over others because it's the only marketing automation software to combine customer relationship management (CRM), e-mail marketing and e-commerce with automation into one system designed to meet the unique needs of small businesses.

The software is used by more than 23,000 users in over 7000 businesses. Infusionsoft customers sent nearly 600 million e-mails, bringing the total number of e-mails sent using Infusionsoft to 4.5 billion.

According to company officials, Infusionsoft helped over 1,000 small businesses launch their first marketing automation campaign. Customers captured 7.5 million leads, bringing the total number of leads captured to date using Infusionsoft to 58 million.

The company also processed $270 million in transactions across all customers, bringing the total amount of e-commerce transactions processed to date to $2.7 billion. It manages over 130 million contacts now managed across all customers.

According to Infusionsoft Chief Marketing Officer Greg Head, small businesses using simple Web marketing tools, like e-mail, contact management and online shopping carts quickly run into problems when they grow.

“They try to stitch these disparate tools together and end up updating data in each system manually, since these systems were not designed to work together,” Head added. “They quickly realize only Infusionsoft is 100 percent focused on small business and the other vendors don't offer the integrated, automated Web marketing system that small businesses need.”

Recently Infusionsoft announced it has been selected as a finalist for Red Herring's (News - Alert) Top 100 North America Award, a prestigious list honoring the year's most promising private technology ventures from North America.
