Official estimates say VanillaSoft increases productivity by 30 to 50 percent over traditional CRM. VanillaSoft dials over existing phone systems or VoIP, so it saves customers from higher fees on communications.

With the new functionality, users can route a lead through VanillaSoft, placing and resulting a sales call in real time. The user’s Salesforce.com account is instantly updated with the results. Additionally Salesforce.com users can query out a specific list of leads to move into the VanillaSoft platform to be worked.

Recently VanillaSoft hit headlines when it announced it is celebrating Women’s History Month by introducing a micro lending initiative focusing on female owned businesses in the third world.

As part of this initiative, the company will make one micro loan per day during the entire March to support women business owners around the world. The loans are offered through Kiva micro lending platform, company officials said.
